The McMaster Industry Liaison Office (MILO) is responsible for commercialization and research collaborations. On Tuesday, May 31, 2016, we will be hosting our third annual MILO Information Day: an event to give students and post docs an opportunity to learn more about MILO and topics surrounding business development. 

The goal of the event is to provide an opportunity for students to learn about the various aspects of intellectual property and the role that our tech transfer and research contracts office plays in connecting research to industry; for example, advancing collaborative research, securing funding, licensing, evaluating and protecting intellectual property, copyright, and patent management.

The day will consist of presentations on a variety of topics (e.g. intellectual property), sessions about prior art searching and market research, and an opportunity to ask questions to our speakers and staff at MILO. We welcome students from all disciplines and encourage you to attend and take part in this event.
